Town of Crossfield Library Manager
Position summary:
The Library Manager is accountable to the Town of Crossfield Library Board through the Board Chair. The Library Manager is responsible for general library administration, personnel administration and relationship management, and financial management.

Skills and abilities:
In addition to library related education and experience, the Library Manager must demonstrate ability to:
• Provide leadership, coordination, initiative, creativity, and independence
• Apply personnel and financial management skills
• Interpret Board policy decisions to staff
• Liaise between the Board and staff
• Analyse library challenges and opportunities to ensure the Library Plan of Service is achieved

The ideal candidate has a post secondary degree in Library and Information Studies or a diploma in Library Services, and a minimum of 3 years experience in leadership and management. Equivalent education and experience may be considered.

Hours and reimbursement: Up to 35 hrs/week. Salary based on education and experience.
